Know what is happening on the estate over the next six months.
Edge-Backing Grass Along Pathways
We will be edge-backing the pathways where the grass over grown over the paths. This will be completed in August.
COMPLETED 22-NOV-2025
Topping and Lifting Crown on Ash Trees
One dead tree and two of the large Ash trees will be removed. This will be completed in September.
COMPLETED 16-OCT-2025
Removal and Replacement of Knee-Boards
The dilapidated timber fence knee-boards will be removed, repositioned, and replaced. This will be completed by next spring.
Installation of Sleeping Policemen
We are exploring the installation of sleeping policemen along Dukes, Earls and Marquis Road. Some of the delivery vans are driving too fast. This is likely to be completed in January/February 2026
Tidy up Verge Along Marquis Road
We will be cleaning up the verge along the new estate. This has been postponed until Spring 2026. We are looking for volunteers to help us so if you're interested, please get in touch.
Solar Street Lights
Installation
One of the largest projects in the past few years, the old columns will be removed in hopefully in early-mid 2026 and replaced with the new solar street lights.
Re-Bark Mulch
Landscaping
The chippings from the tree topping and crowning will be re-used throughout the community flower and shrubbery beds. This will be completed by December 2025.
Add Berms in Green Spaces
Add some more landscaping berms to create more aesthetic appeal to our greenspaces. This will be completed by December 2025.
